Bridport

We camped at the Bridport caravan park. This stretches for a couple of kilometres along the beach front up to a public boat ramp and this old jetty.

The van park is in a great location but I am still not sure it was worth the asking price.

Since I was out in the almost dark I shot some long exposure of the beach beside the jetty.

Liffey Falls

Getting close to the last temperate rain forest we will see on this trip to Tasmania. The walk from the carpark to the falls

Ann was very excited to see a Pink Robin in the car park - thank-you Ian Robertson.

Liffey Falls

The falls are actually a whole series of falls.

The geology of the underwater rocks gives most of the falls this staircase effect.

Liffey Falls - Bottom Car Park

We camped in the campground at the bottom car park for Liffey Falls. There is a longer walking track to the falls from here. I did try  some of it but found it pretty washed out and would have had to wade through the creeks.

Instead I found a Bush Heritage Australia walk. These macro shots are from along that walk.
