Bay of Islands

A lot of birds on the islands out there.

Bay of Islands.

The start of the spectacular cliffs we will continual to see for the next couple of days.

The Grotto.

The Grotto. Down some steps to get here but not too many.

The Grotto.

Surf on the rock shelf in front of the Grotto.

London Bridge.

There is now a span of the bridge missing since the formation was first named London Bridge. I remember when it happened there were people trapped out the end.

Cape Otway - Parker Hill Campground

Parker Inlet. This is down a not insignificant number of steps from the campground.

Parker River

The Parker River is flowing well and the tannin has stained the water here and in the saltwater inlet.

Parker River

I could hear the water tumbling over rocks or something and was rewarded for my exploration to find this small waterfall.

Parker River Campground.

Almost back up to the campground. It is a small campground and all the sites are small and tight with lots of trees. It is really all set up for tent camping and most sites would be a problem even for a camper trailer. Still not too much trouble for us.

Bells Beach.

I didn't walk all the way to the beach and I didn't have a surf board to carry up and down.

Bells Beach

Surfing Bells Beach.

Torquay

Torquay the end of the Great Ocean Road for us. It possibly is a miniature version of the ocean road. Cliffs, ocean stacks and surf.
