This is our second visit to Chilli Beach and I was actually a little disappointed this time. It is just more popular and the intrusion of people more evident. 4x4 vehicles up and down the beach detracted from the place for me.

The Scrub Turkeys on the Cape do not have the classic red and yellow wattles of their southern counterparts. It is more of a purple colour and I didn't see any of the enlarged flamboyant ones that you see down south.
