In Hughenden we camped just opposite this Coolabah Tree. It was blazed by both Walker and Landsborough in the late 1800s. These men both led expeditions looking for Burke and Wills. Landsborough had come by boat from Brisbane and then south from the gulf. Walker had headed North from Rockhampton. Both blazes have grown over and are no longer visible.
