We are camped at the Jetty Beach campground. Not far from the light house precinct I rode my bike up in the morning. Naturally I took my iPhone camera.

I took a tour up the internal stairs to the top of the light house. This is looking up into the fresnel lens of the light.

The small white structure on the hill to the left is the current solar powered light house. It does the job of the old one completely unmanned. It doesn't have the same character though.

How many of us remember a phone like this? We were warned not to turn the handle as it is still operational and will ring down at the keepers house.
