Hobart - Pipeline Track

Part of the the pipeline track at the foot of Mt Wellington. As well as the later steel pipe there is a covered sandstone aqueduct on top of the arched bridge. We had hoped we might have spotted a pink robin here as well but no such luck.

Central Highlands - Lake Arthur pump house campground

One of the many Bennett's Wallabies that call the campground home.

Most people come up here for the fishing. Arthur Lake has a self sustaining population of brown and rainbow trout.

As the name suggests there is a hydro pump station that pumps water up to the Great Lake where it can be used for hydro generation.
